2008 Individual Goal SheetName:_________________ As a sport, distance running is based upon the premise of constant improvement. Runners are always striving to push their bodies to better and better performances. Good goal setting can be a powerful force guiding that effort. This year, we want each individual on the team to have clearly defined goals driving their performance. And, of course, we would like our time to be driven likewise. YOUR GOALS: Your goals relate directly to the expectations you have for your own performance. You need to decide what you need to reach out and strive for this year. Good goal setting is steeped in a strong understanding of where you are and where you want to go.
Personal Bests Goals for 2008 Additional Personal Goals: Are there any other challenges you want to overcome? Having an injury free season? Races within which you want to perform well? Teams you’d like to make (varsity? BCSL All-Star? All-State?)? Please record these goals, as well:
TEAM GOALS: The same questions you must confront as an individual when setting goals also confront our team. Where are we as a team? What do you hope we can accomplish this year? Take some time to record goals you hope we will achieve together:
