2008 Moorestown Cross Country

The MXC 2008 team had an outstanding year. Led by Captains Dave Ringwood, Ryan Wolff, Alex Matteson and Ben Friedman, we had the highest number of runners ever - 67, the highest number of Varsity qualifiers (sub-19:00) - 20, and were one of the best teams in South Jersey. We had a dual meet record of 11-1, losing on opening day to Cinnaminson as our only blemish. We won the Lberty Division for the 5th time in a row, and highlighted the year with a 6th place finish at the Group 3 State Meet. We had an outstanding Freshman class join us this year that assures the future success of the program. The year was also highlighted by the completion of our own home Cross Country Course that we built and funded by our collective team efforts. It is safe to say we lived up to our goals of Fun, Hard Work, Learning and being a Team.
