Volunteers
Boys Cross Country Parent Group Charter:
Provide support to the Boys Cross Country Program with the goal of making the team a healthy, enjoyable, motivating and good learning experience for all runners wishing to participate. The Parent’s Group is a volunteer organization that works with the Boys Cross Country Coaches to create and run the various programs and events that support the team such as the Turkey Trot, Psych Parties, Uniform Program, Communications and Course Construction and Maintenance.
The following Annual Volunteer Positions coordinate with the Coaches:
Board – 5 Parents who will meet with the Coaches several times each year to review the overall plan of the team and Parent Group. This group is responsible for making major changes and assuring coordination and communication with all of the team and other parents.
President – The lead member of the Running Board. Bob Bickel
Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer – These members are the authorized holders of the Moorestown Distance Running Club Account. Anne Marie Inglis.
Running Fund Raising Leader(s) – Responsible for coordinating the overall fund raising efforts. Works Closely with the Turkey Trot Leader.
Turkey Trot leader(s) – Leads the coordination of the annual Turkey Trot Race on Thanksgiving morning. Judy Greenwood
Psych Party Leader(s) – Coordinates with the Captains and Coaches a schedule for Psych Parties and coordinates volunteer houses.
Banquet Leader(s) – Coordinates the annual End of Season banquet and awards ceremony.
Uniform Program Leader(s) – Coordinates the Uniform program and Mile Club T-Short program, along with all other MXC merchandise we decide to buy or sell. Nancy Cataleno
Communications Leader(s) – Coordinates the communications to the newspapers, as well as all web site activities. This includes Photo and Video loading onto the team web site.
